Episode five of the podcast is LIVE, and I’m joined by Jay and David, both good friends of mine from Twitter Dot Com. We open up the proceedings talking about the then-impending sale of Twitter to Elon Musk (which has since allegedly fallen through) and all the absurdity that went with it. We talked about how rich people suck up too many resources for free with an army of sycophants. We also discuss whether Donald Trump’s entertainment value on Twitter is enough to keep him despite his, well, uh, fascism. We then move into wrestling, starting with the WWE Hall of Fame before moving into the various dumbass decisions the company makes via naming and dysmorphic body image pushing. Jay gives us the rundown on All Japan, old and new, while David talks a little about the indies. Finally, we end up on movies and television, namely, The Northman, MCU Disney+ series not sticking the landing, how television has changed over the years from what the medium was in the ‘80s and ‘90s, and finally, some appreciation for LOST.
